Peer Review Process

Publication Process

The publication process of this journal includes the following stages:

  1. Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through the OJS system and ensure compliance with the journal’s submission guidelines and publication ethics.
  2. Initial Screening by Editor
The editorial team conducts an initial check on manuscript completeness, relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, and overall readiness for peer review.
  3. Plagiarism Check
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin). Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% will not proceed to the next stage.
  4. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial check are reviewed by at least two expert reviewers under a double-blind review system, where both author and reviewer identities are concealed.
  5. Author Revisions
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts based on feedback from reviewers and editors. A revision deadline will be set by the editorial team.
  6. Final Decision
After revision, the editor makes the final decision: accept, reject, or request further revision.
  7. Publication
Accepted manuscripts are published online according to the journal’s publication schedule.

Servita Dei: Jurnal Teologi dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen is published twice a year, in April and October, and only accepts original manuscripts that have not been published elsewhere. All submitted manuscripts must adhere to high academic publication ethics standards.
